Target Group
All identified personnel who are required to use or responsible for work carried out involving the use of Pedestrian Operated Powered Pallet Trucks. It is recommended that all operators should have the benefit of a formal course and test before operating a truck in a normal working environment.
Aim
The aim of this course is to bring candidates into line with accepted Codes of Practice approved by the Health and Safety Commission and regulations covered by the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Sections 2 and 16.
Course Content
The course content varies according to the candidate requirements as follows:
- 1 Day Operator Course (Novice)
- ½ Day Operator Course (Experienced)
- Both novice and experienced operators will receive theoretical and practical training before taking their test.
