Lifting Magnets

Magnetic attraction, a universal power which is widely used for the safe lifting and transportation of flat and round ferrous steel loads. Slings, clamps and grabs are not required reducing operating time, removing the risk of load surface damage and making stacking and locating loads easier and more efficient.

The new generation of magnetic lifters utilising permanent-magnets rather than electro-magnets offer significant operational advantages:

  • Independence from power supplies provides built in safety.
  • Safety which even allows their use with dockyard cranes for loading and un-loading vessels.
